Good first box deal

I was looking for a new treat subscription for my dog and Pupper Crust popped up. The first box discount was pretty good, making it worth trying out the monthly dog subscription box. It felt like a solid deal for what I got.

Decent subscription, good support

I ordered a monthly dog subscription box for my two labs. The ordering process was straightforward on their website. It arrived two days earlier than the tracking said, which was a nice surprise. The small-batch dog treats seemed high quality, and my dogs really enjoyed the durable chew toys. One toy was a bit too small for my larger lab, but that's a minor thing. I had a question about customizing the treats and their support team responded within a few hours. They were helpful. Overall, a good experience and I appreciate the quality of the products and the quick response from customer service.

Super fun monthly box!

I just received my first monthly dog subscription box from Pupper Crust and it was fantastic! The salmon superfood jerky bars were a huge hit with my picky eater. I also loved the ice cream snuffle toy. So many fun things in one box! I will definitely be ordering again. My dog was so happy with everything!

Has anyone tried to return a toy from Pupper Crust? Like if it wasn't durable enough or my dog just didn't like it. What's their return policy like?

S Sean Sanchez 5 days ago
I've never returned a toy, but I know they have a policy for it. Probably easier if it's defective, but for 'didn't like it', you might be out of luck unless it's unopened. Check their site.

Returns were pretty straightforward for a damaged toy I got once. Just contacted support and they sent a replacement. Not sure about just not liking it though, most places don't do returns for that.

Can you buy just individual items, like some of their salmon jerky or a lick mat, without having to sign up for the whole subscription box?

J Josh C. 1 month ago
Yeah, totally! They have a shop section where you can buy stuff à la carte. I've bought their lick mats and some extra jerky that way.

Yup, you don't have to subscribe for everything. They have an online store separate from the subscription stuff. Prices are a bit higher for individual items sometimes though.

Thinking of getting a gift subscription for my sister's new puppy. Is there any kind of new customer deal that applies to gift subscriptions too?

E Emma A. 1 week ago
Yep! I got a gift subscription for my friend and there was a pretty good discount for the first box. It's usually advertised right when you go to buy a gift sub.

I think gift subscriptions count as a 'new customer' so you should be able to get a deal on the first box for sure. Keep an eye out for those seasonal codes too, sometimes they pop up.

How does Pupper Crust compare to BarkBox? I've had BarkBox before but looking for something new.

J Jessica M. 1 day ago
Pupper Crust feels a bit more premium, especially with the small-batch treats. BarkBox is good for variety, but I feel like PC's toys are a bit more durable. Plus the custom art is a huge bonus.

PC's treats are definitely higher quality, usually organic or grain-free options. BarkBox sometimes has more 'fun' themes but the toys can be hit or miss on durability. If you want healthier treats and maybe stronger toys, PC is probably better.

I'm looking at getting one of those custom pet portraits, but curious about the turnaround time. How long does it usually take from ordering to getting the actual framed artwork?

M Melissa Miller 2 weeks ago
Oh man, the portraits take a while. Mine was like, 3-4 weeks for the digital proof and then another 2 for the print to arrive. Worth it though, it's super cute!

yeah, don't expect it in a week. It's custom art, so it takes time. I'd budget at least a month, maybe more during holidays.
